i liked the views very much.especially, portrayal of absent mindedness as a blessing was awesome, considering the fact that i was extremely frustrated because of my absent mindedness.

Were there studies done on the differences between the half which did see the gorill ad the half that didn't?

Do we infer that those with higher abilities to focus/concentrate did not see the gorilla?!

I don't neccessarily think that absent mindedness is a negative thing. I say this because as humans we spend so much time thinking about everything that we have to do in our busy days. However we can't possibly be thinking about everything that happens in a day...this would only lead to more stress.

It is sad that we as humans are so closed minded, when focused on a particular task, that we can not even notice a gorilla standing right in front of us. However, in hindsight if our brain did not have the ability to become accostumed to environmental stimuli and focus on a specific stimulus that one deems most important... day to day life would seem chaotic. So maybe not seeing Gorillas is a good thing.
